Overview OUTLINE
The Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences was established in 1991 with the purpose of promoting the scientific and technological progress of the feed industry. It is a modern national research institute integrating feed scientific research, achievement transformation and promotion, and personnel training. At present, it has 11 laboratories including feed microbial engineering, genetic engineering, biochemical engineering, feed resources, livestock nutrition and feed, poultry nutrition and feed, aquatic nutrition and feed, ecological feed, feed engineering technology, feed economy and information, and feed testing technology (central laboratory). Responsibility MISSION
-Scientific Research: Undertake national, provincial and ministerial level science and technology projects; Jointly declare national large-scale science and technology projects, engineering and technology projects, achievement transformation and industrialization projects; Develop Sino-foreign cooperation projects; Accept R & D projects entrusted by enterprises;
-Achievement transformation and promotion: Incubation, upgrading, integration and transfer of new feed technology and new products; provide high-quality technical services for enterprises or industries; consulting on animal husbandry and feed engineering construction projects;

Hardware and Software Advantages SCIENTIFIC INFRASTRUCTURE & SOFTWARE
-Good Hardware Facilities: More than 3000 million yuan has been invested to complete the construction of the national feed product evaluation base and the biological fermentation pilot base of the National Feed Engineering Technology Research Center in the "Feed Safety Project" project, and facilities such as the biological evaluation and breeding test base of pig, chicken and aquatic animal feed and the pilot plant of feed biochemical industry have been established.
-Open laboratory operation mechanism: The laboratory management mode combining dynamic assessment and stability is adopted, and the laboratory open use mode combining central laboratory and satellite laboratory has greatly stimulated the enthusiasm and innovation of scientific researchers.
-National Feed Industry Science and Technology Innovation Center: Initiate the establishment of the "National Feed Science and Technology Consortium" to make it a research and development platform for common technologies in the feed industry; the institute will gradually set up branches in major regions of the country to use various Resources, jointly declare scientific and technological projects, and jointly develop new feed technologies.

CONTRIBUTION TO FEED INDUSTRY
Feed Institute has twice assisted in organizing and completing the "Research on Development Strategy of China's Feed Industry", making great contributions to the formulation of industrial policies such as feed raw materials, additives, mechanical processing, scientific research, laws and regulations, etc. It has established technical cooperation relations with more than 80 enterprises, it has provided more than 200 technical services for feed enterprises, transformed more than 30 scientific and technological achievements, and provided more than 50 project consulting and planning, which has promoted the scientific and technological progress of feed and aquaculture industry. Together with the National Feed Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Beijing), we have done a lot of work in evaluating imported new products and product quality supervision and inspection.
